THE
BRIEF

When our bride chose The Ned member’s club in London as her wedding venue in late December, we knew we would be creating the most beautiful winter wedding celebration.  The bride loved antique, vintage roses and wanted to create a warm, inviting wedding design that looked timeless and opulent.

We took inspiration from the wall coverings within The Tapestry Room at The Ned and selected the most beautiful full-bloomed vintage roses.   Sahara, Earl Grey, Memory Lane and Secret Garden combine to offer a muted and elegant wedding scheme, perfect for such grand surroundings.

The Final Creation

The wedding ceremony was held in The Saloon at The Ned.  Here, we created bespoke drapery to offer large, billowing curtains that formed the ceremony area alongside a stage to elevate the bride and groom during their exchange of nuptials.  Floral cascades tied back the romantic curtains and tumbled to the floor below.  Candles were scattered throughout to add warmth to this winter wedding design.

The Tapestry Room hosted the wedding breakfast at The Ned.  Tables were dressed with luxury rose arrangements alongside Italian crystal accessories.  Chic, ornate flatware, crystal glassware and velvet ribbon detailing finished the look and ensured a setting which was ever as elegant as their surroundings.

Low table designs created using a mass of vintage roses offered an understated and effortless look.  Tall crystal candelabra were then dressed at the base with hundreds of large vintage roses.  The top table featured knots of fresh vintage roses alongside candle accessories to create the perfect setting within which friends and family celebrated.

The Saloon was transformed during dinner into the perfect after party space.  The ceremony stage became a performance area for legendary singer Heather Small from M People.  She surprised guests as they arrived into the club area post-dinner with a set that included all her iconic tracks.  The party didn’t stop here, far from it, as soon as Heather Small had finished singing, guests were entertained by the incredible DJ Luck & MC Neat behind a custom-designed DJ booth into the early hours.

A bespoke cocktail bar with contemporary florals that moved in a fluid and sculptural manner took a commanding position within the space.  Inspired by modern American glamour, the golden bar referenced the equally decadent bespoke cake table made in clear Perspex with gold Greek-key inspired detailing.
