To design the most romantic and luxurious setting for our clients 60th Birthday Party celebrations at The Grove…oh…and it is a secret!
Arranged by her husband, this surprise birthday party had to be hugely romantic and luxurious whilst still appearing comfortable and accessible with low designs to allow their intimate guest list of 16 to spend quality time together so we began researching her favourite colours and flowers in secret to ensure a picture-perfect setting would be realised.
An opulent and hugely luxurious continuous runner of flowers ran along the centre of the dining table. Crafted using the most beautiful roses, spray roses and vanda orchids in a palette of deep, jewel tones this warm scheme ensured guests would feel at home whilst creating a true sense of occasion. Cut crystal accessories ran on either side to add a further layer of luxury before the florals spilled off the edge of the table and tumbled to the floor below on either side in the most theatrical manner. Every detail in this intimate surprise birthday celebration was carefully curated to ensure guests had the most unforgettable experience. Deep berry coloured roses were added to each napkin, the scent of Jo Malone red roses was infused to each napkin & glass cloche’s were custom sourced to serve individual birthday cakes to each guest.
Our client also commissioned the wonderfully talented illustrator Victoria Fitzroy to watercolour a fashion portrait of each and every guest as their place setting. In a world of hyper-personalisation, this is one truly special gift that each guest will treasure as a loving memory of such a special surprise birthday party. As if this wasn’t enough…the surprises continued as guests were lavished with an array of surprise performances which culminated with an intimate acoustic set by celebrity performer Ronan Keating. In the most intimate performance of his career, Ronan Keating performed all his classic hits to this select group of guests to ensure an evening that will be treasured forever.
