Standing tall and creating the most wonderful backdrop for your wedding ceremony with the most spectacular view of Lake Como, a large and impressive double circular arch installation. The forward arch will stand approximately 10ft tall and be formed using a wildly romantic combination of white florals from your chosen palette alongside lashings of green summer foliages. The design will work organically as illustrated above and meander overhead on the left and side and bottom right, leaving the upper right more wild and green.
The rear circular arch will stand 7ft diameter so as to balance the perspective. This piece will be formed solely using lashings of green foliage textures to offer a subtle and contemporary nod to this setting. Crafted with much detail, depth and movement, this larger-than-life piece will command a wonderful presence, ensuring you have a picture-perfect setting to say “I Do”.
Creating the most spectacular setting within the glass marquee, a series of 3 giant floral installations. Each creation will be made using a textural combination of soft green Italian ruscus, each stem individually wired by hand and suspended from a custom- created tiered metal structure. Each design will span 2.4m in diameter at the widest point. These will then be hung at the same height along the centre of the marque for maximum impact. 3 in total.
For a captivating white ceremony at the iconic Villa Balbiano on Lake Como, Larry Walshe, the luxury floral designer renowned for his innovative floral artistry, blended the timeless elegance of a white wedding with a bold, jungle-inspired aesthetic that took guests on a sensory journey. The ceremony space, set against the villa’s majestic architecture and overlooking the shimmering lake, was transformed with a striking juxtaposition of white flowers and lush, tropical foliage.
Soft white hydrangeas, roses, and orchids intertwined with rich greenery, including palms, ferns, and banana leaves, creating an ethereal yet exotic atmosphere. The resulting design was one of pure luxury, where the opulence of the florals and the natural elements of the jungle intertwined seamlessly, evoking both an air of sophistication and the wild beauty of nature. The vibrancy of the greenery added depth and texture, drawing the eye upward and around the ceremony space in a way that made every corner feel alive and inviting.
As guests moved into the dining space, Walshe’s jungle-inspired florals took center stage once again, shifting the mood to one of dramatic, lush elegance. Long, banquet-style tables were adorned with a mix of white florals and cascading tropical greenery, creating the effect of a jungle paradise brought indoors. The florals—arranged in bold, sculptural forms—were complemented by leafy vines that meandered across the tables, while tall palm fronds and delicate orchids seemed to reach toward the sky, giving the room a sense of wild, untamed beauty.
The natural light of the Lake Como setting played beautifully with the design, highlighting the contrast between the purity of the white flowers and the deep, rich greens of the foliage. The entire dining experience was immersive, evoking both the serenity of a white wedding and the untamed spirit of a jungle retreat, all within the luxurious and breathtaking setting of Villa Balbiano. The night unfolded like a dream, where nature’s elegance and luxury met in perfect harmony.
