Home to The Edge and Peak, the iconic Hudson Yards is one of New York City’s newest and most desirable event spaces.
Located 101 floors in the sky, this visionary landmark venue is contemporary, chic and incredibly decadent. Invited by Michelle Rago & Bryan Rafanelli, we were asked to create a holiday party befitting of this new venue using modern lines, luxurious florals and metallic references.
Designed in our London studio, our English florists travelled across the pond to New York City to create and install fresh flowers for this iconic, modern holiday party. Effortlessly chic, we created contemporary florals with a strong silhouette that moved with a sense of ribbon-like fluidity. Weaving throughout freestanding cuboid frames, this modern floral design was complimented by large, mirrored orbs and metallic balloons. Ranging in size from the modest to the massive, these bauble-inspired mirrored spheres added colour and a playful touch to this iconic New York venue.
Flower arrangements used a decadent palette of jewel toned blooms including red Naomi roses, pink wax flower, vintage pink roses and local foliage. A festive floral palette with English flair and detail blended seamlessly against the modern cityscape and urban architecture.
