Drawing reference to your initial visual concepts, each jellyfish body will carved by skilled artisans to assume a diameter of approximately 70cm. Each piece will then be embellished using a solid colour to once again reference your initial imagery using a mass of vibrant cut dianthus flowers, one in hot pink and one in vibrant orange. Capturing the spirit of the movement in your renderings, floral tendrils, crafted again using a myriad of fresh cut flowers (dianthus), each piece will be artfully strung to capture a sense of animation.
To execute the exterior jellyfish suspension and work as sympathetically with the architecture of the building, a custom-fabricated anthracite grey timber framework arch will be created. The colour will be selected to match with the metal framework of your building (as closely as possible) and be as sympathetic as possible. The structure will span the same distance as the window itself and run overhead to create a simple and contemporary silhouette. From here, the external jellyfish will be suspended to ensure nothing is affixed to the building. Freestanding, the structure will measure approximately 1m deep and ballast will ensure its stability during the installation interaction. To hide the supporting ballast, we suggest a bed of fluffy underwater inspired reindeer moss, plants that are reminiscent of seaweed, alongside clusters of rocks.
