When we were approached by Jermain Defoe & Donna Tierney to create the flowers for their lavish wedding at Cliveden House, we knew it was going to be an unforgettable celebration. Donna loves fresh flowers and wanted her wedding to be filled to bursting with them.
Working along the team at Bespoke Events London we conjured a wedding design that was totally beautiful, in all ways.
Cliveden House Hotel is a English stately home situated within 376 acres of National Trust gardens and is one of our absolute favourite wedding venues. It exudes and grandeur from the moment you arrive and as such, we knew the designs that we created would need to be every bit as large and theatrical to achieve a breathtaking and unforgettable wedding.
Greeting guests as they first arrived, giant urn designs, filled to bursting with a rich and textural combination of pink roses, pink flowers and English green foliage. Once guests motioned indoors, they discovered the large and theatrical staircase design. Cascading floral garlands draped around the historic wooden staircase to add softness, texture and warmth to this masculine interior.
Outdoors on the rear terrace, the ceremony quite simply took your breath away. A giant floral wall created using all the brides favourite lilac flowers with floral meadows on either side of the silver mirror aisle, guiding you along the most memorable walk of your life.
A floral escort card display in contemporary clear Perspex plinths offered guests an interactive opportunity during the cocktail reception.
The transformation inside the glass orangery marquee was nothing short of spectacular. Giant fresh floral chandeliers hung from the centre of the ornate structure to create the most jaw-dropping visual feast for the eyes. Large floral trees stood on round dining tables alongside large asymmetrical flower arrangements featuring thousands upon thousands of fresh roses in a palette that explored textures of pink.
A central long dining table had the most beautiful luxury floral runner draped across it before carefully selected glassware and flatware were added to bring the whole wedding design together. Working with the incredible team at Bespoke Events London, every single design detail was carefully considered and curated to ensure this celebrity wedding at Cliveden House was remembered forever.
It is a testament to the dream team involved in this beautiful wedding that it was featured extensively across social media and on the front page of OK! Magazine. Our London florists and wedding designers worked alongside an international team of artisans to produce this large-scale wedding in the heart of the Berkshire countryside. From the first rose to the last crystal vase, our expert team look after each element of your wedding to ensure the most unforgettable day of your life is realised as you have dreamed it.
