BRIEF
To create an unforgettable 21st Birthday Party in a marquee at our client’s home in Surrey using the theme of Austin Powers. Colourful, fun and dramatic was our brief!
With so many Austin Powers references to seek inspiration from, we started working with the concept of flower power and chose to use thousands upon thousands of gerbera. These pack a serious punch of colour and look incredibly luxurious when seen en-masse. Disco balls of course came high on our list, as did old vinyl records.
As guests first arrived in fancy dress and were dropped off in their cars, they were greeted by a giant groovy peace symbol. This allowed guests a quick photo opportunity in their costumes with their friends before they were escorted across for welcome drinks.
On the bar, saucy pink glittered legs were seen burrowing down into meadows of colourful gerbera. Oh behave!
The marquee was then transformed into a playful and colourful wonderland. Large and dramatic gerbera displays added height whilst stem vases, also filled with gerbera and colour contrasting water ran along the centre.
With each detail considered, vintage vinyl placemats were customised using Austin Powers inspired graphics to add a further layer of detail and offer guests a keepsake from this fabulous Austin Powers inspired 21st Birthday Party.
A retro disco with illuminated bars, DJ booth and dancefloor then provided the perfect setting for our guests to party the night away in true Austin Powers style!
