BRIEF
To create a pretty in pink and blue inspired birthday party scheme at the iconic Beach Blanket Babylon restaurant in Notting Hill. The client wanted to include Rococo references and create a decadent setting, befitting of the ornate private dining room.
We at Larry Walshe Studios love the opportunity to create designs which are opulent and luxurious. To keep a playful nod on the scheme and ensure it was approachable for children, we used flocking to transform Rococo inspired accessories.
Luxurious flower arrangements were placed along the centre of one long dining tables, each filled with a detail driven scheme of pink and blue tones. Deep berry pink and purple flowers were included to link the two key colours and ensure a cohesive floral scheme.
Rococo inspired candlesticks, custom flocked by our scenic team added a sharp pop of colour to this fabulous scheme to keep it contemporary but ensure it also sat perfectly in such grand surroundings.
With every detail considered, our young guests were treated to a bespoke cake on each place setting using both pink & blue colours alongside a hand-written name card by our talented calligrapher.
One of the best parts of any children’s party is of course the cake and here, our wonderful client had 5! All were created in our client’s favourite colours, pink and blue, in an opulent and Rococo inspired style. Keeping it playful, these were displayed amongst knots of roses which were hand dipped in white chocolate before being sprinkled with hundreds & thousands.
